AbigailsKnits.com is the culmination of years of Abigail's experience in knitting for friends, family, and colleagues. As a stay-at-home mom with a passion for designing and knitting clothes and accessories for babies, children, and dolls, Abigail has always felt a glow of happiness when she sees how much people treasure the items she has made for them.
Before starting this website, people would always tell Abigail that she should sell her items. Eventually, after hearing this from enough people, she decided to give it a try. She spent a long time considering what kinds of items she would want to sell. Abigail didn't want just your standard garden variety sweater or hat that you could get anywhere, she wanted something distinctive, stylish, and hip. Something that would get attention. She thinks that she's accomplished that with the items that are currently available here.
Abigail has plans for lots more different types of items for your little one, or your little one's little doll. Your American Girl doll should be dressed stylishly too, shouldn't she? And wouldn't it be oh-so-cool for your girl and her doll to be wearing coordinating hats? Abigail thinks so.
